How do we handle our important tasks? A tip for self management.
Our important tasks and activities can be low priority, medium priority and high priority. Let's say there is an important and crucial report which has to be sent out by the 15th of the month.
On the 1st of the month, the task is important and low priority because it has to be sent out only by the 15th of the month.
On the 5th of the month, the task is important and medium priority.
On the 10th of the month, the task is important and high priority.
On the 15th of the month the task is important and now it is urgent. It has to go out today.
If we are mindful to take care of all our important tasks and activities when they are low priority and medium priority, and we do not allow those important tasks and activities to become urgent, life becomes easier, and that's an important tip for self-management.
